Following the completion of all matches, the event continued with an awarding ceremony to appreciate the participants and supporters who had contributed to the success of the competition. Awards were presented in several categories, including Champion, Runner-up, Third Place, Best Supporter, and Best Player. The competition was designed to provide senior high school and vocational high school students with opportunities to develop their interests and talents in futsal through direct competitive experience. Participants were able to measure their individual and team capabilities in terms of technique, tactics, and mentality while building confidence and collaboration skills. At the same time, the event introduced the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, to a broader audience and encouraged young people to learn more about the fields of fisheries and marine science. Therefore, AFISHCO 2026 not only contributed to youth development but also strengthened the positive image of the institution in society.

In addition, AFISHCO 2026 aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which highlights the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable development. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the synergy between the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, academic communities, participating schools, sponsors, media partners, and various supporting stakeholders. Through these partnerships, AFISHCO became more than a sports tournament—it also served as a platform for strengthening networks, enhancing inter-institutional collaboration, and creating positive impacts for youth development. It is hoped that Airlangga Fisherine Competition will continue to be held sustainably with greater innovation each year, becoming a high-quality competition that nurtures outstanding young athletes while strengthening the relationship between the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, and the wider community.
