PROFILE OF THE AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM PSDKU BANYUWANGI
The Study Program (S1) of Aquaculture (Banyuwangi Campus) was established based on on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 274/E/O/2014 concerning permission to operate study programs outside the domicile of Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya. The Aquaculture Study Program is accredited B based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board of Universities No. 922/BAN-PT/Accred/S/IV/ 2018, dated April 3, 2018.
 
VISSION OF AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM (BANYUWANGI CAMPUS)
Becoming an independent, innovative, nationally and internationally recognized study program and has advantages in the field of aquaculture based on local potential, especially fish health and aquatic environments based on religious morals.
MISSION OF AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM
  1. Conducting Aquaculture Studies using advance learning technology implementing nature based learning method, which can encourage students to have self confidence, professional skills and huge effort to develop their selfs1. Organizing academic education in the field of aquaculture with modern learning technology that can motivate students to have confidence and professionalism.
  2. Conducting innovative and high-quality applied and basic research in the field of aquaculture based on local potential.
  3. Dedicating expertise in the field of fisheries and marine to the community to support sustainable fisheries development.
  4. Developing partnerships and science and technology information systems with several relevant government and private institutions.
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduate graduated from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Universitas Airlangga are prospected to play role as
  1. Manager, the one having ability in organizing workforce and becoming a community leader in Fisheries and Marine field.
  2. Enterpreneur, the one having braveness in well conducting a risk management and developing a owned fisheries industry.
  3. Researcher, the one having capability in exploring fisheries and marine resources through performing research.
  4. Instructor, the one, who can transfer knowledge and give understanding to stakeholders in line with the development of fisheries and marine technology.
 
LEARNING OUTCOME
Learning outcomes of graduates of the Aquaculture Study Program (Banuwangi Campus) in the Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) are expressed in three elements, namely attitudes, knowledge, and skills that are divided into general and specific skills.
Attitude
  1. Obedient to the God and be able to demonstrate the religious attitude.
  2. Upholding the value of humanity in carrying out duties based on religion, morals and ethics.
  3. Contributing in improving the quality of social life, nation, state, and progress of civilization based on Pancasila.
  4. Acting as citizens which is pride and patriotism, nationalism, and responsibility to the state and nation.
  5. Appreciating cultural diversity, religious views, and beliefs, as well as the opinions or findings of others.
  6. Cooperative and having social sensitivity as well as concern to community and environment.
  7. Obey the law and discipline in social life and state.
  8. Internalizing of values, norms, and academic ethics.
  9. Exhibiting the responsible attitude towards the work in the field of expertise independently.

  5. Capable of recommending the water management for aquaculture engaging technology.
  6. Capable of analyzing the emerging pest and fish diseases as problem in aquaculture.
  7. Capable of evaluating the problem on fish disease and aquatic health environment in aquaculture.
  8. Capable of applying entrepreneurship in the field of aquaculture.
  9. Capable of making decision in the field of aquaculture based on logic and analyzing.
  10. Capable of conceptualizing the aquaculture technology in ensuring environmental sustainability.
