Surabaya, February 1–October 8, 2025 — The Campus Outfit Development (COD) program, initiated by the Creative Economy Ministry of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), successfully took place throughout the 2025 term. The program aimed to provide essential student necessities such as official BEM jackets, laboratory coats, t-shirts, tote bags, pins, and keychains for campus activities. COD was designed to make it easier for students to obtain official faculty merchandise without relying on external vendors. Beyond its practical purpose, the program also served as a platform for students to develop organizational, managerial, and teamwork skills while fostering a shared sense of pride and belonging toward the faculty.
The entire activity was conducted offline at the FPK Student Center, involving stages of design creation, ordering, production, and product distribution to students. All processes were executed collaboratively between the organizing committee, product vendors, and students as participants. The workflow was transparent and structured to ensure quality and satisfaction for all stakeholders. Moreover, COD offered participants valuable experiences in time management, communication, and teamwork, emphasizing accountability and professionalism in every stage of implementation.
Throughout the program, COD received enthusiastic responses from students across the faculty. Many expressed appreciation for the convenience of obtaining campus necessities through an organized internal system. This initiative not only fulfilled students’ needs but also strengthened the sense of unity among different student cohorts. Participants gained hands-on experience in planning, handling logistics, and managing financial responsibilities—transforming COD from a simple merchandising activity into a practical learning platform for entrepreneurship and organizational management.
As a result of the Campus Outfit Development initiative, a wide variety of campus equipment—ranging from official jackets to laboratory coats—was successfully produced and distributed. The program proved that FPK UNAIR students are capable of executing large-scale initiatives independently and responsibly, from planning to completion. The collaborative nature of COD fostered a spirit of solidarity among students, where creativity, teamwork, and dedication came together to achieve a meaningful impact within the academic community.
Overall, the 2025 COD program ran smoothly and achieved its objectives thanks to the strong support of the faculty leadership, supervising lecturers, and the hard work of the organizing committee. The event demonstrated the creative and responsible spirit of FPK UNAIR students, highlighting their potential to contribute positively to campus life. Moving forward, COD is expected to continue in future years with even greater innovation and improved management. Through such initiatives, FPK UNAIR continues to build a strong, connected, and creative academic environment that empowers its students to grow as leaders in both professional and community contexts.
