On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, held its Closing Party for the Bhaskara Cabinet 2025. The event took place at Katavilla, Puncak, Bogor, starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until late at night — a well-deserved pause where all ministers and staff could finally breathe without the looming pressure of reports and deadlines.
The event gathered the entire ministry board and staff of BEM FPK UNAIR Bhaskara Cabinet 2025. This time, they were not attending a coordination meeting or an evaluation session. Instead, they came to laugh together about how often the word “deadline” echoed throughout their year of service. The gathering reflected not only a break from routine but also a moment to appreciate the camaraderie and commitment that had driven their collective achievements across academic, social, and community engagement programs at FPK UNAIR.
The evening began in a relaxed atmosphere with a casual barbecue and light conversations, accompanied by a random playlist that, somehow, perfectly matched the moment. As the night went on, karaoke filled the air — an unspoken competition to see who had the loudest voice after spending the entire year speaking through proposals and formal activities. Laughter and music mixed effortlessly, reminding everyone that behind every structured event and report, there are genuine friendships that make the work worthwhile.
Between the melodies, some ministers decided to play football in the villa courtyard, while others chose to swim under the garden lights — not for exercise, but simply for the joy of doing something spontaneous, something not listed in their activity proposals. It was a rare night when no one was checking timelines or meeting notes, and yet everyone felt fully present and connected.
There was no symbolic handover or formal closing ceremony, only a collective sigh of relief and gratitude. After months of being the driving force behind various student activities, that night, everyone silently agreed to pause — to enjoy the fruit of their efforts and to celebrate in the most authentic way possible: by letting go. The event concluded with a group photo session, heartfelt words of thanks, and the fading glow of the barbecue embers — a symbolic warmth representing the bonds they had built and the memories they carried forward.
With this, the Closing Party of BEM FPK UNAIR Bhaskara Cabinet 2025 was successfully held — filled with laughter, reflection, and just the right amount of nostalgia. Because sometimes, the truest form of celebration is simply to stop pretending to be busy and start appreciating how far you’ve come.
