Enthusiastic Participation Highlights UNAIR’s International Conference in Bali

Bagikan

The International Conference on Fisheries and Marine 2025 witnessed overwhelming enthusiasm from participants throughout its two-day agenda. Organized by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), the event was not only an academic forum but also a dynamic platform for international collaboration.

Knowledge Sharing at Its Best

The most anticipated sessions were the keynote speeches, where international experts from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia shared insights into pressing global challenges.

Key themes included sustainable fisheries management, advanced biotechnology applications, and innovative seafood-based food products aimed at addressing global food security.

Engaging Panel Discussions and Presentations

Beyond the plenary sessions, the conference also featured panel discussions and parallel scientific presentations. These sessions allowed participants to choose topics ranging from marine resource conservation to technological innovations in fisheries processing.

Both oral and poster presenters benefited greatly by receiving valuable feedback from international experts while expanding their academic networks. The vibrant academic atmosphere fostered new collaborations across institutions and borders.

Networking Beyond Formal Sessions

Interestingly, participants also engaged actively outside formal sessions. Informal gatherings, such as coffee breaks and a networking dinner, became crucial spaces to strengthen academic bonds and explore collaborative projects.

These interactions encouraged opportunities for joint research, student exchanges, and shared projects in the future.

Participants’ Testimony

Many participants expressed their satisfaction with the outcomes of the event.

“This conference allowed me to directly interact with international experts and opened opportunities for research collaboration,” shared one presenter from Malaysia.
