🐟 EXOCUS: UNAIR FPK Freshmen Batch Name 2025

The highlight of Jaladhi 2025 closing ceremony was the inauguration of the freshmen batch name. The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences officially declared EXOCUS as the name of the class of 2025.

Derived from the flying fish, EXOCUS symbolizes courage, determination, and the ability to break limits, just as flying fish leap beyond the water and soar toward the horizon. This philosophy reflects the hope that the 2025 freshmen will not only grow academically within the campus but also make meaningful contributions at national and international levels.

✨ The Philosophy Behind EXOCUS

For Jaladhi organizers, naming a batch is more than just assigning an identity; it is a motivational symbol that students carry throughout their academic journey.

With the name EXOCUS, freshmen are expected to:

  • Embrace the process: Engage in every stage of university life with passion.

  • Break boundaries: Dare to innovate and exceed expectations.

  • Stay united: Build a strong and supportive batch identity.

  • Honor the alma mater: Represent FPK UNAIR with pride.

🎤 Meaningful Remarks

The symbolic inauguration of EXOCUS was marked by the handover of the batch flag from the committee to the freshmen representatives. In his speech, the President of BEM FPK UNAIR emphasized that EXOCUS is a call to soar high.

“Flying fish remind us that freshmen should not fear reaching beyond their limits. We hope EXOCUS will bring pride to UNAIR FPK across many fields,” he said.
