FPK UNAIR and FKP Udayana Strengthen Collaboration for International Conference 2025

The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPK) of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has completed its academic visit to the Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (FKP) of Universitas Udayana, Bali. This visit aimed to strengthen the existing collaboration, particularly in supporting the International Conference 2025, which is set to take place in Bali on September 3-4, 2025.

Academic Collaboration for an International Conference

During the warm and productive meeting, the FPK UNAIR team, led by Dr. Eng. Sapto Andriyono, S.Pi., MT., alongside Muhammad Hanif Azhar, S.Pi., M.Si., Ph.D., Kustiawan Tri Pursetyo, S.Pi., M.Vet., Ph.D., and Dr. nat. techn. Muhammad Nur Ghoyatul Amin, S.TP., MP., M.Sc., was welcomed by the Dean and Vice Dean of FKP Udayana.

Both institutions discussed strategic academic collaboration, particularly regarding FKP Udayana’s role as a co-host of the International Conference 2025. One of the key discussion points was the technical preparation of the conference, including role distribution and academic contributions from each institution.

The Chairman of INCOFIMS 2025 (in conjunction with INCOBIFS 2025), Dr. nat. techn. Muhammad Nur Ghoyatul Amin, S.TP., MP., M.Sc., emphasized that this collaboration aims to ensure the successful execution of the conference while enhancing knowledge exchange in fisheries and marine sciences.

Commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education

Beyond conference planning, both faculties also reaffirmed their commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the fields of research and community service. With a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) already signed, FPK UNAIR and FKP Udayana are ready to strengthen their synergy in various academic and research activities.

Expectations for International Conference 2025

Through this collaboration, the International Conference 2025 is expected to become a valuable scientific discussion platform for academics, practitioners, and stakeholders in the fisheries and marine science sector.

This visit reaffirms FPK Universitas Airlangga’s commitment to strengthening academic networks at both national and international levels, while also ensuring a high-quality and impactful conference for the scientific community.
