FPK UNAIR Launches New Online SKP Validation System

Bagikan

In a strategic move to enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen governance, and support the delivery of quality higher education, the Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR) has officially introduced a new mechanism for validating the Student Achievement Credit System (Sistem Kredit Prestasi/SKP). The policy applies to all student activities conducted from the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year onward, as stipulated in Announcement Number 3928/B/UN3.FPK/I/DL.00.00/2025. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to improving academic services while ensuring transparent and accountable recognition of student achievements.

The newly implemented mechanism requires that all SKP submission and validation processes be conducted fully online through the Cybercampus system. This digital-based approach eliminates the need for students to visit the Student Affairs Subdivision in person, thereby increasing accessibility and operational efficiency. Under the new regulation, students must carefully ensure that the semester or submission period aligns with the actual time of activity implementation before uploading their SKP data to the system. By centralizing the process within Cybercampus, FPK UNAIR aims to foster an inclusive and technology-driven academic environment that supports students’ participation in academic, research, organizational, and community engagement activities. The policy not only simplifies administrative procedures but also strengthens digital literacy among students as part of the faculty’s broader digital transformation agenda.

The validation framework is grounded in Rector Regulation of Universitas Airlangga Number 24 of 2023 concerning the Student Achievement Credit System (SKP), as well as the Directorate of Student Affairs Letter Number 3363/UN3.MAWA/DI.00.00/2023 on the Implementation of SKP in 2023. Through adherence to these institutional regulations, FPK UNAIR ensures that the evaluation of student achievements remains standardized, transparent, and aligned with university-wide academic policies. The SKP system functions as a structured instrument to recognize students’ contributions beyond classroom learning, including research involvement, scientific competitions, organizational leadership, and community service initiatives. By reinforcing the validation mechanism, the faculty seeks to guarantee educational quality assurance, equitable assessment, and accountable documentation of student performance. This step also supports the integration of academic excellence with co-curricular and extracurricular achievements, reinforcing holistic student development within the fisheries and marine sciences discipline.

Students are encouraged to regularly monitor the validation results and accumulated SKP points through the Cybercampus platform as part of a continuous learning and monitoring process. Should there be any objections or appeals regarding awarded SKP points, submissions may be made directly to the Student Affairs Subdivision during official working days and hours. Meanwhile, the printing of the Student Activity Transcript (Transkrip Kegiatan Mahasiswa/TKM), which remains a mandatory requirement for undergraduate thesis defense, continues to be processed offline at the Student Affairs Subdivision. Through this comprehensive policy implementation, FPK UNAIR underscores its dedication to strengthening institutional governance, enhancing service quality, and ensuring that student achievements are formally recognized in a fair, measurable, and internationally aligned academic framework
