The study tour between HIMATEKHIKAN from Universitas Airlangga and HIMAIKLA from Universitas Brawijaya on September 15, 2024, achieved its goal of building strong collaboration in the maritime field. The main focus of this event was to foster relationships between student associations, exchange knowledge, and develop innovations that could be applied in the future.
The event concluded with a group photo in front of Universitas Brawijaya’s Rectorate as a symbol of the success of the study tour. Moreover, the friendships formed during the event established a strong foundation for long-term collaboration.
Participants expressed their satisfaction with the knowledge and experience gained. They hoped similar events would continue to be held in the future, on a larger scale, involving more universities, and adding innovations in fisheries and marine sciences.
This study tour showed that inter-university collaboration is key to achieving better development in research and innovation, particularly in the maritime sector, which requires synergy between various parties.
