Surabaya, February 28, 2026 — The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), once again held the Student Assembly of the Student Constitution (MUSMA) as the highest student forum aimed at determining the strategic direction of student organization governance at the faculty level. The 2026 assembly primarily focused on the amendment of the Student Constitution, a process designed to refine and update organizational regulations to remain relevant amid evolving student needs and the dynamics of modern organizational management. The activity reflects the faculty’s commitment to strengthening participatory governance while fostering leadership and institutional accountability among students.
The MUSMA served as an academic democratic platform that brought together representatives of student organizations, active administrators, and student delegates in an open and participatory discussion environment. Beyond functioning as a formal decision-making mechanism, the forum also acted as a learning space where participants developed organizational communication skills, collaborative leadership values, and an understanding of governance systems based on deliberation and consensus. The Student Assembly of FPK UNAIR 2026 was conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2026, within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences environment.
