Study or research activities on ecology are currently very interesting. This is because global issues are constantly being called for related to global warming and climate change. In ecological studies, a number of data analyzes must be carried out to interpret the data obtained. Not only water quality data, generally data on the abundance of organisms in an ecosystem is studied to see their abundance, dominance and distribution in the habitat. Therefore, the use of software is very helpful in providing researchers to produce better data analysis and display in the form of graphs or images that are more attractive. On this occasion (Wednesday 22 June 2022), Dr. eng. Sapto Andriyono introduces Primer-e software for data analysis which produces a number of interesting graphs and faster statistical analysis even though the data is very large. In addition, the interest of the Aquaculture and Fisheries Resource Management Study Program lecturers who attended required a follow-up activity in the form of a more detailed and in-depth Work Shop and allowed collaboration in publications and research between the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya and the Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Maritime University.
