The third day of PKKMB Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Friday (23/08/2024), was closed with a festive Student Day event involving the entire academic community. This event is the culmination of a series of PKKMB activities designed to welcome new students with enthusiasm and togetherness.
The Student Day event began with the pinning of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs badge on the new students’ alma mater jackets. This moment symbolizes the official joining of new students into the big family of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs. After the badge pinning, various performances from lecturers, education staff, and old and new students enlivened the atmosphere.
The performances were very diverse, ranging from music, dance, to theater. Lecturers and education staff were not left behind to show their talents, which were welcomed by the new students. Old students also participated by performing various creative and entertaining attractions, adding to the intimacy between generations.
Student Day is not only an entertainment event, but also an important moment to strengthen the relationship between the academic community. Through this event, new students can see another side of the lecturers and education staff, who are not only professional in the academic field, but also active in non-academic activities.
