SURABAYA – Thursday, March 19, 2026 – The Alumni Association of Universitas Airlangga (IKA UNAIR), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK) Commissariat, successfully held the Full Board Meeting (Rapat Badan Pengurus Lengkap/RPBL) at the Hall of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, on March 15, 2026. This agenda was organized as a strategic step to strengthen internal consolidation while formulating the direction of the organization’s work programs for the 2026–2030 period.
This activity served as a crucial momentum for board members to unify their vision and clarify the organization’s roadmap. In addition to strengthening internal cohesion, the RPBL also followed up on the directive from the Chairperson of IKA UNAIR, Ning Khofifah Indar Parawansa, emphasizing the importance of synergy, coordination, and collaboration among the Central Board, Regional Boards, Branch Boards, and Commissariat Boards of IKA UNAIR.
Through this RPBL, it is expected that IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat will continue to enhance the active role of alumni in supporting the development of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, particularly in preparing prospective graduates of FPK UNAIR to face the post-campus world. The Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Prof. Dr. Endang Dewi Masithah, Ir., M.P., also expressed her congratulations on the successful organization of the RPBL event, themed “Alumni Sambang Kampus” (Alumni Visiting Campus), and conveyed her best wishes for IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat.
The Secretary General of IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat, Cak Ardhito Himawan, S.Pi., M.M., who also served as the Chair of the RPBL Committee, stated that this forum is an important platform to align perspectives and strengthen the commitment of board members in contributing to their alma mater. “We hope that through this forum, the organization can operate more effectively and provide tangible benefits for both alumni and the institution,” he said.
In line with this, the elected Chair of IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat for the 2026–2030 term, Cak Okky Hermawan, S.Pi., M.Si., emphasized that the key to the organization’s future success lies in collaboration and networking. “We aim to strengthen synergy among alumni and build more active communication with various stakeholders. We hope that IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat can become a platform that provides added value for all members and supports the advancement of the faculty,” he stated.
Support also came from a senior figure of the organization, Cak Arif Syaifurizal, S.Pi., Chair of IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat for the 2016–2020 period, who advised the new board to maintain continuity of well-established programs while improving areas that require development. “I believe that with a spirit of togetherness, the new management will be able to enhance the organization to become more solid, professional, and sustainable,” he remarked.
With the successful implementation of this RPBL, IKA UNAIR FPK Commissariat is now ready to enter a new phase of leadership that is more dynamic and collaborative, aiming to create a positive impact for the alma mater and the wider community.
