In the KRS Socialization activity organized by the Student Welfare Advocacy Division (ADKESMA) of the Aquaculture Student Association on August 2, 2024, not only discussions about filling out the Study Plan Card (KRS) were conveyed, but also two other important topics, namely Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) and Student Mobility.
The Head of the Department of Aquaculture Study Program, Mrs. Putri Desi Wulan Sari, S.Pi., M.Si., explained that the MBKM program is one of the important steps that students can take to develop specific competencies. This program allows students to learn more in-depth knowledge according to their interests and needs, as well as prepare themselves to work in fields that match their passions.
In addition, Ms. Putri Desi also explained about the Student Mobility program which provides opportunities for students to take part in student exchanges or internships abroad. Interestingly, this internship activity can be converted into Field Work Practices (PKL) and even the final thesis assignment. This provides a great opportunity for students to gain international experience and broaden their horizons in the field of aquaculture.
This information received a positive response from the students who attended. They showed great interest to know more about how to join the MBKM and Student Mobility programs. With this socialization, it is hoped that students will be better prepared to take advantage of the various self-development opportunities available on campus.
