The discovery of analgesic substances from aquatic organisms for applications in fisheries and aquaculture

Many procedures that continue in labor, fisheries research and scientists such as tagging and vaccination can involve tissue damage that causes pain in fish. Painful stimuli may involve a stress response in fish. In the vertebrae, the nociceptor detects injured tissue and this signal is received by A-delta and C nerve fibers on the spinal chord which stimulates response responses in physical changes such as activation of some stress responses. The stress response affects the liver causing the liver to have a vital function in supllied and energy metabolism. Histological changes can be observed with changes in hepatocyte vacuolation and color characterization. Triterpenoids are known to have hepatoprotective activity. One of the marine organisms containing triterpenoids is sea cucumber. Treatment is not injected with acetic acid, lidocaine and Phyllophorus sp. The extract did not show histopathological damage such as necrosis, pyknosis, and edema. Treatment of injection of 0.05 ml of 5% acetic acid showed histopathological damage such as pyknosis and edema. The damage range of pyruvate is at a moderate level of damage because the damage shown is between 25-50% in one field of view.

Edema damage range at the level of severe damage because damage is shown between 51-75% in one field of view. Injection treatment of 0.05 ml of 5% acetic acid and 0.1 ml of 1 mg lidocaine / fish showed histopathology such as pyknosis, edema and necrosis. Necrosis and pyknosis at the level of histopathological damage and edema at the level of histopathological damage were very severe. Injection treatment of 0.05 ml of 5% acetic acid and 0.1 ml of Phyllophorus sp. extract dose 5 mg / 50 gr with the muscularis injection showed histopathological damage such as pyknosis, edema and necrosis. Edema and necrosis at moderate levels of histopathology, pyknosis at the level of mild histopathological damage.
