Academic Profile

Prof. Dr. Gunanti Mahasri, Ir., M.Si. is a Professor at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, specializing in Fish Health and Environmental Management. Her research focuses on fish and crustacean diseases, immunostimulants, probiotics, aquatic environmental quality, and biotechnology-based disease control strategies for aquaculture.

Her work has contributed significantly to the development of innovative health management approaches for aquaculture systems. She actively develops immunostimulant products derived from pathogens, plankton, and seaweed to improve disease resistance, survival rates, and productivity of cultured aquatic organisms.
