Aquaculture

Aquaculture is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs This study program was established based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture No 325 / DIKTI / Kep / 2000 on September 7, 2000 When the letter was issued the name of the study program was S1 Aquaculture However, this changed in 2018 to S1 Aquaculture based on the Rector's Decree Number 898 / UN / 2018 S1 Aquaculture can be taken with a total of 61 courses and a study load of 145 credits Graduates of this study program can become various professions such as managers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and instructors.

This study program can be taken for 8 semesters with a study load of 144 credits There are courses that characterize this study program, namely pharmaceutical biota This study program was established to meet the needs of stakeholders in the development of pharmaceutical biota.

MASTER OF FISHERIES AND MARINE BIOTECHNOLOGY

ADMISSION

The Master of Fisheries and Marine Biotechnology Study Program aims to produce graduates who have competence in science, and are able to apply it in solving problems in the fisheries and marine fields The curriculum of this program is prepared based on the needs of industry and society, with a study load of 42 credits taken within 3 semesters The learning process is carried out on campus and in the laboratory, with student-centered learning methods Graduates of this program can work in various fields, such as the fisheries and marine industry, research institutions, and the government.

The Master of Fisheries Science study program is a leading and accredited graduate program The program curriculum is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of sustainability in fisheries With three specializations, this program prepares graduates to be able to contribute in various fields Having an in-depth understanding of fisheries science, graduates of this program can contribute in the field of fisheries, ranging from the fishing industry to aquatic conservation The competencies provided can help graduates in ensuring that Indonesia's fisheries resources are managed sustainably and utilized sustainably.

HYEGENE AND SANITATION
This course discusses the principles and implementation of hygiene and sanitation in the aquatic product processing industry, the role and benefits of hygiene and sanitation for food safety of aquatic products, hygiene and sanitation in supporting HACCP in aquatic products.

HIGIEN DAN SANITASI
Mata kuliah ini membahas tentang prinsip dan implementasi higienis dan sanitasi pada industri pengolahan produk akuatik, peran dan manfaat higien dan sanitasi bagi keamanan pangan dari produk akuatik higienis dan sanitasi dalam menunjang HACCP pada produk akuatik.

AQUATIC ECOTOXICOLOGY
This course provide studen with the understanding of absorption, accumulation, distribution, and excretion of toxins; xenobiotic biotransformation, determination, enzyme activity, the concept of induction, acute, sub-acute and chronic toxicity, and their relationship with aquatic organisms.

BIOMONITORING OF ACQUATIC ENVIRONMENT
This course provide students with the understanding of the aquatic environment, signals of changes in the aquatic environment, models of monitoring in aquatic environments, the use of biological aquatic organisms as indicators in monitoring the aquatic environment.
