PROFILE OF MASTER OF FISHERIES SCIENCE

Master of Fisheries Science is a master's degree to study fisheries science in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. It was established based on Rector's Decree No: 148 / UN3.12 / AK / 2019, on April 24th, 2019. Master of Fisheries Science has fulfilled the minimum accreditation requirements based on the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No: 49 / SK / BAN-PT / Min-Akred / M / VIII / 2019. Master of Fisheries Science has 3 (three) main interest studies, which are Tropical Aquaculture Science, Tropical Aquatic Resource Management Science, and Aquatic Product Processing Technology which are mainly aimed to facilitate Bachelor's degree-research according to their areas of interest.

Vision

To be recognized nationally and internationally for excellence in knowledge development, applied science and technology in the field of tropical fisheries for sustainable fisheries based on the values of excellence with morality.

Mission

1.    To conduct and develop fisheries science education in accordance with the development of science and technology.
2.    To organize and develop superior research related to tropical fisheries, especially in the field of tropical aquaculture, aquatic resource management and aquatic product processing based on values of excellence with morality.
3.    To provide community services by applying the results of study and research based on the values of excellence with morality.

Graduate Degree

When it finally comes time to complete the study programme, the Master of Fisheries Science students feel proud of their achievements. Not only have they gained valuable knowledge, but also an official title that reflects their specialisation in fisheries, namely Master of Science (M.Si).
