Testing Services to Support Fisheries and Marine Affairs

Technical activities involving the characterization of samples, products, materials, equipment, physical phenomena, processes, and chemical properties can be carried out based on established procedures. The FPK UNAIR Integrated Service Unit provides physical, chemical, and biological testing across various parameters, particularly those related to fisheries and marine affairs.

Testing Scope

Testing services cover various parameters that support research and educational needs, fisheries aquaculture, fisheries product processing, as well as fisheries resource quality management.

Chemistry

Testing of chemical characteristics in water, processed raw materials, feed, extracts, and various materials related to fisheries.

Microbiology

Microbiological testing to detect contamination, bacteria, molds, yeasts, and microorganisms associated with the health and safety of fisheries products.

Biology

Biological testing and characterization, including fish identification, parasite identification, histology, histopathology, and other biological parameters.
