PT Medion Indonesia held a recruitment program for students and alumni of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK), Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), on Monday (July 27, 2026). Conducted on the sixth floor of Building C, FPK UNAIR, the event provided participants with an opportunity to explore career prospects while undergoing the initial stages of the company’s recruitment process. The program reflects the growing collaboration between higher education institutions and industry in preparing competent graduates for Indonesia’s aquaculture sector.

PT Medion Indonesia is a leading Indonesian company established in 1976, operating in animal health, livestock, agriculture, aquaculture, and related supporting industries. The recruitment program was attended by FPK UNAIR students and alumni who had successfully completed the administrative registration requirements. During the event, participants underwent three preliminary assessment stages: the M-Exam, Competency Test (Tes Kompetensi/TK), and Scholastic Potential Test (Tes Potensi Skolastik/TPS). These assessments were designed to evaluate applicants’ fundamental knowledge, professional competencies, and cognitive potential before proceeding to the subsequent phases of the recruitment process.
Beyond the selection process, participants also received an in-depth introduction to PT Medion Indonesia, including its corporate profile, organizational culture, employee development programs, and diverse career opportunities. The session enabled students and alumni to gain valuable insights into the expectations and professional standards required in the fisheries and aquaculture industry while understanding how the company supports employee growth and long-term career development.
Creating Career Opportunities in the Aquaculture Sector
During the event, PT Medion Indonesia introduced several career positions relevant to graduates in fisheries and aquaculture, including Aquaculture Technical Sales Representative and Aquaculture Technician. These roles focus on providing technical assistance for aquaculture operations, delivering customer education, supporting production management, and contributing to market development within the aquaculture industry.
The recruitment activity offered participants practical exposure to industry expectations while encouraging them to strengthen both their technical expertise and professional competencies.
