The Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, serves as an overarching framework for the development of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine over a five-year period, outlining the development scenarios of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine.
The Strategic Role of the Faculty
Based on Government Regulation Number 30 of 2014 concerning the Statute of Higher Education, Article 49 (1), a Faculty is an implementing element of academic, professional, and/or vocational education at Universitas Airlangga that coordinates and carries out academic, professional, and/or vocational activities in one or several disciplines of science, technology, and humanities.
The core purpose and meaning of the development of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, is an effort to educate and empower the Indonesian nation through comprehensive human development in the fields of Fisheries and Marine.

Leadership and Participation
In the process of developing democratic leadership and encouraging participation, the Strategic Plan serves as a benchmark for assessing the success and performance of the management of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine at all levels and across all areas.
Anticipating Change
The Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine is designed to anticipate all internal and external changes and developments while addressing various strategic issues that the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine may face over the next five years.
All members of the academic community and employees of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine are expected to understand and implement the Strategic Plan.

Decree of the Board of Trustees Number 01/UN3.MWA/K/2016 concerning the Strategic Plan of Universitas Airlangga serves as the basis for preparing the Strategic Plan for the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine for the 2021–2026 period.
