On Friday, January 30, 2026, under a bright morning sky and dressed in vibrant red attire, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), held a warm and spirited togetherness program. The event brought together all DWP members of the faculty in a shared commitment to strengthening solidarity, enhancing communication, and fostering a sense of unity that supports the academic and institutional environment of FPK UNAIR.
The program was organized by Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, and involved faculty leaders, lecturers, and education staff members. Taking place within the faculty environment on Friday morning, January 30, 2026, the activity aimed to reinforce interpersonal bonds among members while promoting well-being and active engagement within the academic community. The event began with a lively morning exercise session attended by faculty executives, academic staff, and administrative personnel. Participants enthusiastically followed the guided movements designed to maintain physical fitness and overall health. The cheerful atmosphere was amplified by contemporary workout music, creating an energetic and inclusive environment that encouraged participation across generations. This collective physical activity reflected the faculty’s broader commitment to a healthy and productive academic culture, recognizing that personal well-being plays an essential role in supporting educational excellence, research productivity, and community service initiatives carried out by FPK UNAIR.
Following the morning exercise session, the event continued with a cooking equipment demonstration session organized specifically for DWP members. During this segment, participants were introduced to various functions, innovative features, and practical advantages of the cooking tools presented. The demonstration provided valuable insights into efficient and modern cooking techniques that can simplify daily household activities. Beyond its practical dimension, this session also highlighted the importance of continuous learning and adaptability—values that resonate strongly within the academic ecosystem of FPK UNAIR. By encouraging members to stay informed about technological developments, even in domestic contexts, the activity indirectly supports a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing that aligns with the faculty’s mission in fisheries and marine sciences education. The interactive nature of the demonstration fostered discussion, questions, and exchanges of experience among participants, strengthening communication and mutual support networks within the organization.
The program concluded with the regular arisan discussion, a routine agenda in every DWP meeting. Conducted in a relaxed and friendly setting, the discussion served not only as a social gathering mechanism but also as a platform to reinforce solidarity and open communication among members. Through this structured yet informal interaction, DWP FPK UNAIR reaffirmed its role in nurturing a supportive environment for faculty families. By sustaining togetherness, cohesiveness, and shared enthusiasm, Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, continues to contribute positively to the faculty’s internal harmony. Such initiatives strengthen the social foundation that underpins academic performance, research collaboration, and community engagement activities, ensuring that the faculty remains resilient, united, and forward-looking in its pursuit of excellence.
