Dr. eng. Sapto Andriyono S.Pi., M.T.

Sapto Andriyono S.Pi., M.T. is one of the lecturers at the Department of Marine Affairs, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Universitas Airlangga, currently serving as deputy dean III for the 2020-2025 period. He holds a Bachelor’s degree at the Bogor Agricultural Institute, then a Master’s at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology and a Doctoral degree at Pukyong National University.

Dr. eng. Sapto Andriyono S.Pi., M.T. also active in the Community Service Program. Community Service by lecturers of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs from Airlangga University is one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, Community Service Activities are an obligation that must be carried out. In 2020 he became the chairman of Community Service in Blinyu Village, Bangka Regency, the activity entitled “Increasing the Added Value of Fishery Products and Dissemination of Good Fisheries Cultivation”, this community service by teaching the addition of herbal plants can support the optimization of catfish cultivation.

Dr. eng. Sapto Andriyono S.Pi., M.T. expert in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, and Molecular Ecology. Several publications by him are Assessment of fish biodiversity in four Korean rivers using environmental DNA metabarcoding, Environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding: Diversity study around the Pondok Dadap fish landing station, Malang, Indonesia, Marine Fish Detection by Environmental DNA (eDNA) Metabarcoding Approach in the Pelabuhan Ratu Bay, Indonesia, Characterization of complete mitochondrial genome of two-spot swimming crab Charybdis bimaculata (Miers, 1886), and Complete mitochondrial genome of Spanish flag snapper, Lutjanus carponotatus (Perciformes: Lutjanidae).
