On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the Adribata Cabinet of the Fisheries Processing Club (FPC) 2025 held a session to review and update its Bylaws and Articles of Association (AD/ART), marking a key step in strengthening governance and operational efficiency during their leadership period.
The AD/ART session is one of the core programs organized by the Central Management Body (BPI) of FPC FPK Universitas Airlangga, designed to update fundamental rules, including requirements and disciplinary measures, ensuring the club operates smoothly throughout the management period. The meeting invited all staff and board members of the 2025 period to review existing regulations and propose adjustments aligned with current organizational needs and priorities.
The session was co-chaired by two presidiums: Ardiyan Ghossan Sobandi as Presidium I and Muhammad Ishommuddin as Presidium II. The meeting proceeded in a calm and interactive atmosphere, with active participation from board members. Key proposals for language refinement in the bylaws were put forward by Ahmad Fauzi Mansur, Chairperson of FPC FPK UA 2025; Chandra Arya Gatra, Vice Chairperson; Ayunita Dwi Syifana, Treasurer II; and Firyal Artemisia Ivana, Secretary II. Their contributions aimed to enhance clarity and relevance of the organizational regulations to current operational realities.
A major focus of the session was the restructuring of active members into division staff, following changes mandated by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The removal of active member status, previously assigned specific roles and responsibilities, and the shift to division staff was undertaken to streamline the organizational structure. This adjustment ensures each member is placed in a position that best aligns with their skills and contributions, thereby enhancing overall organizational performance and operational efficiency.
The session also welcomed diverse opinions, feedback, and suggestions from other staff and board members, reflecting a collaborative approach to governance. Through this AD/ART session, FPC FPK UA aims to cultivate a sense of organizational ownership among members and promote effective decision-making. By continuously refining its regulations, the club demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence, research alignment, and the professional development of its members within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga.
