Surabaya – The 2026 Student Ambassadors of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPK), Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), officially introduced their organizational identity, vision, mission, and strategic work programs through the launch of the FPK UNAIR Student Ambassadors 2026 Company Profile. The initiative marked the beginning of the new administration’s efforts to showcase the role and contribution of the organization to the academic community and the wider public as a representation of active, inspiring, and competitive students.

Held at the Amphitheater of Campus B, Universitas Airlangga, on Sunday (12/4/2026), the event brought together all 21 members of the 2026 FPK UNAIR Student Ambassadors team. Through the company profile presentation, participants introduced the organizational structure, core values, and a series of programs that will be implemented throughout the one-year term.

More than a promotional initiative, the company profile served as a platform to strengthen the identity of the FPK UNAIR Student Ambassadors as representatives of students within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The organization plays a strategic role in supporting academic development, student engagement, and faculty promotion. Through this initiative, the Student Ambassadors aim to foster closer relationships with students, lecturers, alumni, and external stakeholders who contribute to the broader ecosystem of FPK UNAIR.

As an organization dedicated to student development and institutional promotion, the FPK UNAIR Student Ambassadors are committed to serving as a communication bridge between students and various stakeholders. The implementation of structured and impactful programs is expected to enhance information dissemination, strengthen the faculty’s public image, and encourage greater student participation in both academic and non-academic activities.

The initiative also reflects the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals through efforts to build collaboration and expand strategic networks. By actively managing communication platforms and organizing public engagement programs throughout the administration period, the Student Ambassadors seek to improve information outreach, strengthen partnerships with student organizations, alumni, and external institutions, and support sustainable development initiatives related to fisheries and marine sciences.

Beyond introducing the organization to the public, the Company Profile event also served as a platform for personal and professional growth among its members. Through their involvement in the organization, students are encouraged to develop communication, leadership, and teamwork skills that will become valuable assets in their future careers.

With a renewed spirit and ambitious vision for 2026, the FPK UNAIR Student Ambassadors aspire to become student representatives who not only bring pride to the faculty but also contribute meaningfully to raising public awareness of strategic issues related to fisheries, marine sciences, education, and sustainable development.
