Saturday, September 21, 2024, marked a historic day for 159 new students of the Aquaculture Study Program at Universitas Airlangga. NATAMANDARA 2024, the annual orientation program, officially kicked off with excitement. New students (often called maba) from various regions eagerly participated in a series of events designed to introduce them to university life in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPK).
The event started with a clothing check by the field operations division, ensuring that every new student was properly dressed. Afterward, attendance was taken, and students were guided to Building C to attend the official opening ceremony.
At 8:00 AM, the opening ceremony began with remarks from Maulidi Arrohman, the Head of the Aquaculture Student Association (HIMAKUA) 2024, and Dea Putri Arnanda, the Chairperson of NATAMANDARA 2024. Following the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and the Airlangga Hymn, symbolic scarf and ID card presentations were made to the new student representatives, marking the official start of the orientation program.
With the commencement of NATAMANDARA 2024, the new students of the Aquaculture Study Program are ready to embark on their academic journey at Universitas Airlangga, eager to absorb valuable knowledge and experiences.
