The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Universitas Airlangga (BEM FPK UNAIR) once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening organizational governance through the implementation of Nalendra Asa 2026 on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM WIB in Room B-304, Building B of FPK UNAIR, the activity served as a strategic briefing session for major organizational work programs. The event involved cabinet ministers, Persons in Charge (PICs) of major programs, and the core executive board as part of efforts to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of organizational programs throughout the management period.
Organized by the Ministry of Cabinet Apparatus Empowerment, the program aimed to establish a shared understanding among all committees while providing technical guidance regarding the implementation of large-scale organizational activities. Through this briefing session, participants received comprehensive insights into the stages of program planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure that every activity could be carried out effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational standards.
Throughout the event, the sessions were conducted in an orderly and conducive atmosphere. The materials delivered covered various essential aspects of organizational program management, ranging from strategic planning and technical coordination to implementation control and evaluation mechanisms. Participants were also introduced to several flagship programs that will be organized by BEM FPK UNAIR during the 2026 management period, including Jaladhi 2026, Airlangga Maritime Week 2026, Dean Cup 2026, Airlangga Fisheries Competition 2026, and Salmon 2026.
The activity was carried out interactively through discussion and question-and-answer sessions between participants and speakers. During these sessions, participants actively shared questions, ideas, and potential challenges that might arise during the implementation of future programs. The discussions not only clarified technical matters but also strengthened coordination and communication among committees. The enthusiasm shown by participants throughout the event reflected their collective commitment to ensuring the success of organizational work programs.
Nalendra Asa 2026 played an important role in improving both individual and team readiness in carrying out organizational responsibilities. Through comprehensive training and preparation, every committee member is expected to better understand their respective roles and contribute optimally to the implementation of impactful and high-quality programs. The activity also became an opportunity to cultivate professionalism, responsibility, and collaborative working culture among members of the student organization.
In addition to enhancing technical understanding, the program provided broader organizational benefits by strengthening synergy among members and encouraging more structured and sustainable organizational governance. This foundation is considered essential in creating a more adaptive and accountable student organization capable of delivering meaningful contributions to students and the academic environment.
From a broader perspective, the activity also aligns with the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The organizational learning process supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) through capacity building and practical organizational education. Meanwhile, the emphasis on transparency, accountability, and structured governance reflects the implementation of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Furthermore, the collaborative spirit demonstrated throughout the activity supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthened cooperation and coordination among organizational members.
Through the successful implementation of Nalendra Asa 2026, BEM FPK UNAIR reaffirmed its commitment to developing well-planned, professional, and impactful organizational programs. The activity is expected to serve as a strong foundation for the successful implementation of all major work programs throughout the management period while also strengthening the role of student organizations in fostering leadership, collaboration, and institutional development within the academic community.
