Academic Profile
Dwi Yuli Pujiastuti, S.Pi., M.P., M.Sc. is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, with expertise in Fisheries By-product Utilization and Marine Natural Product Biotechnology.
Her research focuses on the utilization of fisheries by-products, exploration of marine bioactive compounds, development of cosmeceutical products, cosmetic nanotechnology, and the utilization of seaweed and sea salt to produce value-added health products. Her research contributes to the development of innovative and sustainable industries based on marine resources.
She actively develops various functional products based on marine natural resources through biotechnology and fisheries product technology approaches. Her innovations have received intellectual property protection, including patents for face scrub gel and marine-based toothpaste in 2023.
