As part of its continuous effort to nurture young generations with strong character, effective communication skills, and broad perspectives, the Ambassador Association of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), once again held the Ambassador Internship Program 2025. The program spanned four sessions, combining online and offline activities, with a series of inspiring and interactive workshops designed to enhance participants’ skills and confidence.
The internship officially began on Monday, August 11, 2025, through an online introduction session. Participants were introduced to the profile of FPK UNAIR Ambassadors, including their vision, mission, work programs, and strategic roles as representatives of students. The session also offered an opportunity to get to know the Ambassador Association—a community that brings together active ambassadors and alumni to collaborate and develop themselves. The warm and engaging atmosphere encouraged lively interaction, with participants enthusiastically exploring the ambassadorial world within the vibrant Blue Campus environment.
Continuing the journey, the second session took place offline on Thursday, August 14, 2025, focusing on the theme Embracing the Journey to Become a Public Speaker! This session provided participants with valuable insights into effective public speaking techniques. The session was led by Ambassador Tirsa Ruthdita (Aquaculture, 2022), who shared her personal experiences as a Master of Ceremony, moderator, and speaker. Beyond theory, participants were actively engaged in hands-on exercises through a dynamic and educational role-playing game. This activity allowed them to practice expressing themselves confidently while maintaining proper communication etiquette according to different contexts.
The third meeting, held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, featured the theme Every Strong Personal Brand Starts with One Brave Step. Led by Ambassador Rehan Fitrianto (Marine Science and Technology, 2023), this session emphasized the importance of building a positive and authentic self-identity both in real life and in the digital world. Participants learned practical strategies for personal branding and were challenged to create self-branding videos on Instagram as a form of implementation. This creative exercise encouraged them to showcase their strengths and professional image while exploring digital communication skills essential for the modern era.
The internship concluded on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with an exciting Catwalk and Confidence Class guided by Ambassador Cinta Heksa. Participants learned how to build self-confidence, practice appropriate appearance etiquette, and develop positive first impressions. To celebrate their progress, the Ambassador Association of FPK UNAIR presented special recognitions—Golden Ticket and Silver Ticket—to participants who demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, consistency, and active participation throughout the program. The recipients of these awards earned a special opportunity to advance to the next stage of the FPK UNAIR Ambassador Selection.
The Ambassador Internship Program 2025 not only served as a learning platform but also as a transformative space for self-development, fostering leadership, confidence, and a sense of contribution among students. Through comprehensive sessions and a supportive community spirit, the program is expected to produce future FPK UNAIR Ambassadors who are ready to excel and inspire others in line with Universitas Airlangga’s spirit of Excellence with Morality.
