The Adibrata Fisheries Processing Club (FPC) 2025 at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, successfully conducted a training and discussion session on proposal writing, accountability reports, and bureaucratic procedures on Friday, March 14. The event aimed to strengthen the professionalism and administrative competence of staff and committee members involved in organizational management.
The training session featured former FPC 2024 Secretary and Treasurer as the main speakers, providing first-hand insights into effective organizational administration. Held in a semi-formal setting, the discussion encouraged active and interactive participation from the staff and committee members. Attendees were able to explore technical aspects of proposal and accountability report (LPJ) preparation, fostering a deeper understanding of procedural and documentation standards required for successful activity reporting within the club.
During the Q&A segment, FPC 2024 Secretary Shafira emphasized that proposals and accountability reports are essential documents for every activity conducted under the club’s management. Staff members actively engaged with Shafira, raising detailed questions on structuring proposals to meet institutional requirements and ensure clarity in reporting outcomes. This interaction demonstrated the participants’ enthusiasm for enhancing their administrative skills and highlighted the importance of meticulous planning in academic and extracurricular activities at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
Treasurer Aprodita provided guidance on handling receipts in accountability reports, particularly when official purchase receipts are unavailable. She explained that in such situations, staff in charge can create manual receipts including the seller’s name, shop name, and contact number as proof of transaction. Aprodita also stressed that maintaining integrity and transparency in LPJ preparation is crucial for the financial accountability of the organization. This practical advice equips staff with solutions to navigate common challenges in administrative management while upholding ethical standards.
The discussion proceeded smoothly, enriched by constructive questions and shared experiences from both staff and committee members. Participants gained comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures, including proper documentation, reporting mechanisms, and accountability practices.
