The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, recently invited chairpersons and representatives of all student organizations within the faculty to a casual forum aimed at discussing and coordinating the schedules and event programs for each organization throughout the upcoming academic period (February 26, 2025).
The integrated calendar serves as an annual agenda at the beginning of each term, designed to ensure smooth coordination between all student organizations before implementing their respective work programs. This initiative is organized by the Ministry of Utilization and Internal Development under BEM FPK UNAIR 2025 to review, discuss, and finalize the planned schedules and event structures for the upcoming period. Participating organizations include BEM, BLM, HIMA, and BSO, representing the diverse student bodies within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
Conducted during the first month of the new BEM FPK UNAIR term, this agenda provides an opportunity for each chairperson or representative to present their organization’s detailed schedule and program structure. The aim is to inform all participating student organizations about the planned activities, fostering transparency, collaboration, and effective planning. By aligning schedules, overlapping or conflicting events can be minimized, ensuring that each program achieves its intended outcomes and success indicators.
The forum also emphasizes strategic planning and academic integration, highlighting the importance of structured student engagement within research, community service, and faculty-based initiatives. By participating in this agenda, student leaders can better manage resources, optimize program impact, and contribute positively to the faculty’s academic and extracurricular environment. The session encourages open communication and collaborative problem-solving, creating a cohesive ecosystem for student organizations at FPK UNAIR.
The primary goal of the integrated calendar forum is to enhance organizational efficiency, promote mutual awareness, and maximize the effectiveness of student-led programs. It targets chairpersons and representatives of all student organizations, ensuring that every program is well-planned, measurable, and aligned with faculty-wide objectives. This structured approach is expected to improve the quality of student engagement, enrich campus activities, and support the overarching mission of Universitas Airlangga in fostering competent, responsible, and proactive graduates.
