The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Airlangga (FPK UNAIR), reaffirmed its commitment to fostering progressive and impactful student governance through the KAKEMA 2026 Work Meeting. Marking the beginning of a new administrative year, KAKEMA (Keluarga Mahasiswa) FPK UNAIR introduced a renewed organizational structure and strategic direction aimed not only at strengthening internal management but also at expanding meaningful contributions to society through academic-based initiatives in fisheries and marine sciences.
The work meeting was held in early 2026 at the FPK UNAIR campus and attended by the core board of KAKEMA 2026, departmental representatives, and student organization advisors. Serving as a strategic planning forum, the meeting focused on formulating a one-year work program that is systematic, measurable, and aligned with the faculty’s vision as a globally competitive higher education institution. Through participatory discussions, each department presented its vision, mission, and flagship programs, ensuring that organizational objectives are directly connected to academic excellence, research development, and community engagement in fisheries and marine affairs.
A key highlight of the meeting was the introduction of a strengthened organizational structure designed to enhance coordination, accountability, and professional governance.
