Surabaya — Alwach Zidny Niam, a 2023 cohort student of the Aquaculture Study Program at Universitas Airlangga, achieved remarkable success as a key member of the university’s main basketball squad during the East Java Provincial Student Sports Week (POMPROV) III in 2025. His outstanding performance helped propel the UNAIR basketball team to the finals, ultimately earning them the prestigious Runner-Up title in the highly competitive tournament.
The POMPROV competition, organized by the East Java branch of the Indonesian Student Sports Development Board (BAPOMI), took place from May 29 to June 4, 2025, gathering top universities across East Java in a spirited display of athleticism and sportsmanship.
