The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (BEM FPK Unair) under the Bashkara Cabinet once again held the “Lapor Pres” (Performance Report) forum as part of its 200-day governance evaluation agenda. The event took place from Saturday to Friday, September 13–19, 2025, and was organized under the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Utilization and Development (PPI). This forum served as a continuation of the first Lapor Pres session, extending the commitment of BEM FPK Unair to internal transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in organizational performance.
Unlike the previous session, which primarily focused on achievements within the first 100 days, the second phase of Lapor Pres centered on assessing the continuity and sustainability of work programs, the consistency of each ministry in executing planned initiatives, and their preparedness for upcoming challenges as the administration nears the end of its term. The forum aimed to provide a reflective space where ministries could evaluate progress and refine strategies to maintain effectiveness in organizational governance and student engagement.
The forum was conducted in an interactive meeting format, involving direct discussions between the PPI Ministry and all ministries within BEM FPK Unair. Each ministry presented detailed reports on the progress of their work programs, including milestones achieved, ongoing obstacles, and strategic solutions for program continuity. The PPI Ministry acted as both facilitator and evaluator, providing objective feedback, constructive criticism, and practical recommendations to ensure that all ministries remained aligned with the vision and mission of the Bashkara Cabinet. Through this structured dialogue, the organization fostered a culture of mutual accountability and collaborative problem-solving across departments.
In addition to performance evaluations, the forum also included a reflective session designed to uphold transparency and encourage open communication. This session gave members from each ministry the opportunity to express feedback directly to the Ministers, Vice Ministers, President, and Vice President of BEM FPK Unair. Participants shared appreciations for achievements made over the past months while also voicing constructive critiques related to communication effectiveness and inter-ministerial coordination. This approach aimed to strengthen the internal ecosystem of BEM FPK Unair, ensuring that every member had a voice in shaping organizational improvement.
By hosting this second Lapor Pres forum, BEM FPK Unair reaffirmed its commitment to building a sustainable, transparent, and accountable culture of evaluation. The insights gathered during this activity are expected to serve as a strategic foundation for enhancing internal synergy, improving the quality of program implementation, and maintaining organizational consistency until the end of the Bashkara Cabinet’s term. This initiative not only reflects good governance practices but also demonstrates the student organization’s dedication to leadership development, participatory management, and continuous institutional advancement.
