The study tour between HIMATEKHIKAN from Universitas Airlangga and HIMAIKLA from Universitas Brawijaya wasn’t just about discussions; it was also a chance to explore the various facilities at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at UB. The participants were divided according to their departments and took a guided campus tour led by the heads of each department.
This exploration provided new insights for Unair students. Buildings, laboratories, and fisheries facilities at FPIK UB captured the attention of enthusiastic participants. Each HIMATEKHIKAN and IMITK department explored different areas to focus on aspects relevant to their fields.
Not only did they tour the facilities, but they also discussed how the campus infrastructure supports innovative research and work programs. The students left inspired, full of fresh ideas from this tour.
This event demonstrated how important campus infrastructure is in supporting student academic and research activities. The hope is that HIMATEKHIKAN and IMITK students will be able to implement what they saw and learned into their own programs at Unair.
