The 2026 Fisheries Product Technology Student Association (HIMATEKHIKAN) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Airlangga University (FPK UNAIR) held a Student Meeting to discuss and agree on the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) as the foundation for running the organization. This activity served as an important forum for all members to express their views, provide input, and formulate a collective agreement regarding the organization’s basic rules. This agreement is expected to serve as a guideline for creating better organizational governance, transparency in administrative formulation, and an accountable accountability system.
The event took place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in classroom B.304, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Airlangga University, both in-person and offline, with over 30 participants. In attendance were not only the HIMATEKHIKAN management, but also invited participants from the FPK Student Legislative Body and the Fisheries Product Technology Student Commission (KOMTING) from the three youngest classes. All participants wore Airlangga University alma mater jackets as a sign of pride in their alma mater and the formality of the forum. The student deliberation proceeded in a conducive, interactive manner, with participants expressing high enthusiasm for their opinions.
Participant attendance began between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), with the session beginning at 8:00 a.m. The program began with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the Airlangga University Hymn. This was followed by the formulation of the meeting’s rules of procedure, led by Presidium I Gladi Dewi and Presidium II Febrina Dhisty. The meeting, which served as a reference for the formulation of the statutes and bylaws, was held. The AD/ART meeting began at 8:30 a.m. in a conducive and interactive atmosphere. The deliberation lasted approximately one hour and was finally agreed upon by the signatures of Presidium I and Presidium II. The activity concluded at approximately 9:45 a.m. WIB with documentation shared by all student deliberation participants. With the approval of these Articles of Association (AD/ART), HIMATEKHIKAN FPK UNAIR for the 2026 period is expected to be able to carry out its work program in a more focused manner and support the development of a professional, aspirational, and progress-oriented organization for Fishery Product Technology students.
