The Birthday Bliss Program is one of the flagship initiatives organized by the Department of Media and Information of HIMATEKHIKAN. Through simple yet meaningful gestures, HIMATEKHIKAN continues to nurture solidarity while reinforcing its role as an active and caring student association within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga (FPK Unair).
The Birthday Bliss Program was initiated and implemented by the Department of Media and Information of HIMATEKHIKAN as part of its internal engagement strategy for the 2025 organizational period. The primary objective of this initiative is to strengthen the sense of kinship among members by acknowledging and celebrating their birthdays. The program takes the form of publishing personalized birthday greeting posts for HIMATEKHIKAN members via the Instagram “Snapgram” feature on the association’s official account. These greetings are uploaded regularly whenever a member celebrates their birthday, starting from March until November 2025. By utilizing digital platforms, particularly social media, the program ensures that appreciation can be expressed in a timely, accessible, and widely visible manner. The target participants are all active members of HIMATEKHIKAN, and the implementation is conducted online to reach both on-campus and off-campus members efficiently. Through this initiative, HIMATEKHIKAN demonstrates how digital communication strategies can be optimized to maintain internal cohesion within a student organization in a modern academic environment.
Beyond simply delivering birthday wishes, the Birthday Bliss Program serves as a tangible form of appreciation and recognition for each member’s presence and contribution.
