Dr. Eng. Patmawati, S.Pi., M.Si. is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, specializing in Aquatic Natural Products. Her research focuses on the exploration and utilization of bioactive compounds derived from aquatic organisms for applications in biotechnology, food innovation, biomaterials, and sustainable product development.

Her scientific work encompasses the discovery and development of natural compounds from aquatic resources, fisheries bioproducts, and biomaterials with potential applications in health, food, and industrial sectors. She is also actively involved in research on silver and gold nanoparticles, bioenergy, and biotechnology-based innovations that enhance the value of aquatic resources.
