On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPK) at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) successfully held the Grand Final of the FPK Ambassador Selection 2025 at the Candradimuka Hall, Campus C, Universitas Airlangga. Taking place from 12.00 to 18.00 WIB, the event marked the culmination of an inspiring journey for the finalists, who had undergone a series of selection stages, training sessions, and quarantine periods with outstanding enthusiasm and dedication.
The FPK Ambassador Selection is not merely a competition but also a platform for student self-development, where participants are encouraged to enhance their communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to present constructive ideas. During the grand final night, each finalist showcased their best performances through a series of question-and-answer sessions, presentation of inspirational ideas, and talent shows, all reflecting the confidence, creativity, and excellence that characterize FPK students. The event was enlivened by an enthusiastic audience of students, lecturers, and invited guests who witnessed the finalists demonstrate their intellect and charisma. The atmosphere throughout the event was both festive and meaningful, underscoring the faculty’s commitment to holistic student development.
After careful deliberation by the panel of judges, Theo and Kayla were crowned as the Winners of FPK Ambassadors 2025. The Runner-Up titles were awarded to Rifqi and Naya, while special recognitions were given to Sabrina as Favorite Ambassador, Dhena as Talented Ambassador, and Metha as Friendship Ambassador. Each award symbolized the diversity of talents and personalities that make up FPK UNAIR’s student community. The winners are expected to serve as role models, representing the faculty in various academic, cultural, and social engagements within and beyond the university.
Through this program, FPK UNAIR continues to demonstrate its dedication to nurturing students’ potential—not only in academic excellence but also in leadership, personality, and communication skills that prepare them to become globally competent graduates. The success of this event reflects FPK UNAIR’s commitment to providing its students with opportunities to grow as ambassadors of change—individuals who embody the values of integrity, intelligence, and compassion.
As part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts toward internationalization, the FPK Ambassador program plays a crucial role in promoting the university’s image and encouraging students to actively contribute to society through their talents and leadership. The newly appointed FPK Ambassadors 2025 are expected to bring positive energy to every academic and community engagement they participate in, serving as inspirational figures for fellow students and the broader UNAIR community.
