Tracing Academic Footsteps in Taiwan: Continuing Graduate Studies in Fisheries

In the latest episode of the #FisheriesAroundTheGlobe series, we follow an in-depth academic journey in Taiwan, a country known for its technological advancements and innovations in various fields. This episode highlights the academic experiences of researchers from the Faculty of Fisheries and Oceanography who are continuing their postgraduate studies in Taiwan with a focus on fisheries research.

Taiwan offers a challenging yet supportive academic environment, with state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from leading experts in the field of fisheries. However, the journey is not without its challenges. The students had to adapt to a different education system, deal with a new language and culture, and meet high academic demands. However, their dedication and passion for research excellence allowed them to overcome many difficulties.
