Surabaya – On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the Airlangga Maritime Week (AMW) 2025 lit up the Candradimuka Hall at Universitas Airlangga. This prestigious event brought together the ideas, creativity, and passion of Indonesia’s young generation in the maritime sector.
Youth Spirit in Maritime Innovation
Organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK UNAIR), the event featured various competitions filled with excitement and enthusiasm. A total of 10 finalists from leading high schools across Indonesia showcased their maritime knowledge and innovative ideas.
The participants demonstrated that Indonesian youth possess enormous potential to contribute fresh perspectives and solutions to the future of the maritime industry.
More Than Just a Competition
Airlangga Maritime Week served not only as a competition but also as a platform for collaboration between students, academics, and the maritime community. It reaffirmed UNAIR’s commitment to nurturing education and maritime awareness among the younger generation.
