BEM FPK UNAIR Unveils 2025 Magazine to Promote Transparency and Appreciation

The BEM Cabinet Bhaskara of Universitas Airlangga’s Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPK) introduced its annual publication, BEM Magazine 2025, as part of its commitment to transparency and institutional documentation. This initiative compiles every major program, event, and milestone carried out throughout the management period, highlighting both organizational performance and collective student contribution.

The magazine is published in two formats: a digital version—distributed through official social media platforms and the BEM website—and a printed edition, which serves as an institutional archive at the faculty office. By doing so, the organization ensures that every stakeholder—students, lecturers, and faculty members—can easily access an overview of BEM’s yearly activities. This approach underscores BEM FPK UNAIR’s dedication to open governance, academic integrity, and recognition of collective efforts.

Comprehensive Documentation of Student Innovation and Achievements

Inside BEM Magazine 2025, readers will find an extensive record of every program conducted by Cabinet Bhaskara. Each section presents a chronological summary of activities, complemented by key achievements, narrative insights, and visually engaging layouts. The editorial team designed the content with a light, informative tone to ensure readability while maintaining academic relevance.

Highlight features include flagship events such as Airlangga Maritime Week, Career Festival, SALMON (Student Action for Marine Innovation), and Jaladhi, among others. Each of these programs represents BEM’s role in advancing student creativity, leadership, and community engagement within the maritime and fisheries sectors. Additionally, reflective notes from each division and personal messages from cabinet members provide authentic perspectives on the teamwork and challenges behind the organization’s success.

Positive Reception and Lasting Impact on the Academic Community

The release of BEM Magazine 2025 received a warm welcome from students and faculty members alike. The digital version reached more than 85% of the faculty community, while the printed edition now serves as an official record stored at the BEM secretariat and dean’s office. Many students praised the publication for effectively portraying the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and commitment within Cabinet Bhaskara.

Through this publication, BEM FPK UNAIR hopes to nurture a sense of pride in student institutions, reinforce the organization’s positive image, and inspire future administrations to continue innovating. More than a compilation of activities, the magazine stands as a symbol of dedication and perseverance that defined the 2025 period of BEM leadership.
