Rembang – Students of the Fisheries Product Technology (THP) program at Universitas Airlangga have once again demonstrated their skills in the field. During internship monitoring, industry partners expressed appreciation for their technical competence and adaptability.
Positive Feedback from Industry
At one of the monitored sites, a frozen seafood company praised UNAIR students for their ability to perform technical tasks in line with industry standards. Their skills in handling equipment, adapting to the workflow, and meeting production demands reflected the program’s academic rigor.
New Opportunities for Collaboration
In addition to recognition, industry partners responded positively to FPK UNAIR’s initiative to strengthen collaboration. Draft partnership agreements were formally offered, opening opportunities not only for student internships but also for joint research and even postgraduate pathways.
Strengthening Academic-Industry Synergy
According to the supervising lecturers, forging institutional partnerships ensures that students’ experiences remain relevant to global challenges. This aligns with Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which encourages universities to engage more closely with professional industries.
